Salary – up to £35,000
With over 50 years expertise in their field I am delighted to be working with a leading transport company who are seeking for a Transport Planner to join their team on a permanent basis.
About you...
- + 2 years’ previous experience working in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Duties...
- Book shipment space ensuring the most cost and time effective routes available on the Irish Sea.
- Ensure fleet is available for planned servicing and maintenance.
- Ensure customer KPIs are achieved.
- Plan and co-ordinate a fleet of vehicles throughout the U.K and Ireland.
- Co-ordinate and manage drivers while ensuring compliance with Road Traffic and Working Time laws.
- Deal with customers and their orders
- Input data onto TMS
- Ensure that internal teams updated on changes and delays.
- Other adhoc duties
