I am working with a specialist transport company who are seeking for a Transport Planner to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis
Duties…
- Oversee daily/weekly work scheduling and routing
- Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently
- Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained
- Manage Driver & Vehicle compliance, training and development
- Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
- Other adhoc duties
About you…
- Previous Transport Planning Experience
- Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
- Experience of planning routes through to Ireland
